Call or text 801-559-7638

Two quick questions so we arrive knowing what to look for.

We come to your home, test your water at the tap and tell you what, if anything, your home needs. It costs you nothing and there is no sales presentation.

What is the free in-home water test?

Flat Rate Water Softeners offers a free in-home water test across Utah County, Salt Lake County, Summit County and Wasatch County. We visit your home, test the water at the tap, and use the result to recommend and size the right equipment for you.

What does the free water test measure?

An in-home water test is a screening test of the water at the tap we test, on the day we test it. It measures things like hardness, iron and pH so we can recommend and size equipment.

How does the free water test work?

  1. Tell us your ZIP code and what you are noticing, then choose a time that suits you.
  2. We contact you to confirm the visit.
  3. We test your water at the tap and talk through the result with you.
  4. If your home needs a system, we give you an upfront, flat-rate price. If it does not, we will tell you.

Is the water test a lab test?

No. It is a screening test that tells us what equipment you need. It is not a certified laboratory analysis and it is not a determination that your water is safe to drink. If you are concerned about bacteria, nitrate, lead, arsenic or other health-related contaminants, have your water tested by a state certified laboratory; we are happy to help you arrange it.
